We are looking for a rollout engineer (4 month contract) with excellent 1st & 2nd line technical support skills to assist us in a large-scale PC rollout/Windows 10 upgrade programme of approximately 600 PC/Laptops.

Working closely with our IT Support team you will engage with staff site-wide assessing their replacement hardware and software requirements.

You will undertake PC imaging, arrange and undertake hardware and software installations, as well as supporting the Asset Coordinator and service provider by accurately maintaining asset and software licencing information. To efficiently assist the roll-out you will need to possess exceptional organisation and communication skills coupled with outstanding technical ability.


In order to be successful you will need the following:

  • 2 years experience working as a Service Desk Analyst
  • Competent using a Service Desk call logging system with knowledge and understanding of SLAs and escalation
  • Deployment experience (full lifecycle from engaging with staff to obtain/assess replacement device requirements, organising replacements, PC imaging, installing software and swapping out devices 
  • Windows 10 imaging experience (ideally)
  • Desktop support expertise with experience of supporting users at all levels
  • Experience in dealing with customers at all levels through to VIP and external service providers


  • Excellent organisational, administration, communication and technical skills
  • An excellent communicator at all levels within an organisation and with external suppliers
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • A strong attention to detail to ensure information is accurate
  • Experience utilising exceptional organisation skills to co-ordinate people/services/equipment/logistical activity
  • Grade C or above in GCSE English & Maths
  • Level 3 IT qualification, Comptia A+, Microsoft or similar recognised accreditation
  • ITIL / SDI or similar qualification is desirable


Other information

Working 37.25 hours per week Monday to Friday

A full driving licence is required
